Today I finally took the TIME to address my new passion. I now have music and snippets from The Word added as well as a new template. The excitement comes in trying something new. Retirement is not the wonderment that some said it would be. I was lost that first year- missing the students and teachers. During that TIME I knew who I was and what was expected of me. I knew where I was going and where I had been. I knew that I knew. Suddenly, I had the TIME to do as I pleased. There were no phone calls asking my advice or my opinion - only phone calls asking me to give blood at the current location or give to the current cause or vote for the current issue.
Immediately after my retirement I did join one of the local gyms to keep the promise I had made to myself that once I had the TIME, I would take care of me.
This evening I shared with my daughter my new TIME commitment. She said it would go in her favorites - she is my favorite- along with her brother! God has blessed me with two wonderful childen who are parenting their own. Retirement has given me the TIME to watch them become insightful and invested parents.
I have taken up enough of this TIME until next TIME........
