Outdoor Wednesday-Snow Bunny

My thanks goes out to Susan at A Southern Daydreamer for hosting Outdoor Wednesday. Our outdoors here in Missouri has been less than delightful. You know what they say about Missouri - "If you don't like the weather just wait a minute - it will change! That has most definitely been the case the past few weeks.

Our snow last week reminded me of a January blizzard. Buttery yellow daffodils were iced in crystalline snow. The red bud trees on our property looked like peppermint candy with red spiraling through the whiteness. Then, before you could blink your eyes, it was gone. All that was left was this "snow bunny"! I certainly hoped he was not waiting for more friends.

Do you think he might be hiding under here?

No, just the delicate astilbe we are protecting from the cold.

The only bunny we want to see now scampering around is this one.
HAVE A HAPPY DAY!

I bet you are glad to be rid of the snow. Hopefully that will be the last of it and spring will come to stay!

I feel your pain in trying to protect our goodies from the cold. I do the towel over the tender stuff trick too. Even here in Texas we dipped below freezing & I was out covering the peach trees with towels & plastic bags. re so anxious for Spring aren't we?

Hello from Nebraska. We had about 8 inches of snow this past weekend so our view is about the same. Summer won't come soon enough!

I think they must say the same about Georgia weather! I had to cover up stuff the past two days and tomorrow it'll be in the 70's

That's the absolute truth about Missouri weather!!

I'm working on a post, for next week, using those famous Target bird salt and pepper shakers. I just told J, I need to go over to the lake, by M & J's and take a couple of photos of the guy bird shakers, fishing. He said we better hurry, because we are to have a change in the weather again today!!

Happy Easter!

Hi Charla
I just saw your question at the Back Porch. I can't remember where I found the large cloche. I've had it awhile. I would suggest you try All About Home, in town. Lori may have one that size. That would be the first place I'd check.

I also saw a few at Evergreen. I don't think they are that large, though.

Thanks for coming by.
