Welcome to Outdoor Wednesday, hosted by Susan at A Southern Daydreamer. It is a beautiful place to visit, even if your day is rainy.
Our weekend was wonderful with our children, their spouses, and our grandchildren celebrating Memorial Day. The days were filled with eating, boating, eating, swimming, eating, laughing, and of course eating.
But, the most peaceful time was at sundown. These pictures were taken from our deck as the sun slid silently behind the edge of the earth. I wish all of you the peace I find here.

These are beautiful shots, Charla! We are going to be returning to the lake, soon.
You get the sunsets, we get the sunrises.
Was the water clear, when you were there? It was a tad muddy, when we left.

You are so right about the "dish" thing...it does start young! I'm a 3rd generation dish junkie!
Hi Charla, Thank you for stopping by and visiting me. I just LOVE sunsets and yours are just gorgeous. I haven't heard about anyone having trouble with leaving comments and being blown off blogs. I'm sorry you had trouble and hopefully it is cleared up. Have a great day.

Oh how relaxing and the warmth of the sun comes beaming through. I bet you could just drift off to la la land sitting out there late in the afternoon. It's gorgeous.

Charla, What beautiful pictures you take. Is that a large lake? Oh, I would have loved to have been there with you.
Charla, thinking of you on the day after your grandmother's birthday. I think that's so special that she shared that day with my husband. His sister was born one year after him on the same day, and their mother's first cousin was also born on that day. It's a memorable one for sure with some very special people born on it!
XO,
Sheila :-)

That looks like a dream come true to me! Have a wonderful weekend. Thank you for your sweet comments.
What a gorgeous sunset - just beautiful!
Yes, I spray painted the candlesticks - no primer - just a few coats of red.
Thanks for dropping by!
